Interestingly, but this “odorless” milk still continues to heal children from severe allergies and bronchial asthma, like that odorous, grandmother? If not, then the price to such perfection is worthless. However, we’ll figure it out.

The idea of ​​goat milk business came to the mind of large entrepreneurs when the fashion for “ecological nutrition” appeared and modest shelves with “organic food” were organized in supermarkets. This idea is to teach practically healthy adult consumers to drink goat milk, preferring it to cow's milk.

The main advertising slogan of the campaign is based on an obvious medical truth: “goat” is absorbed by the body much better than “cow”. So, a few companies began to deliver sterilized goat milk to the market with a six-month shelf life ... The naivety and courage of this business idea resembles a well-known joke about a young Georgian who came to the doctor with a request for immediate castration. Frightened by perseverance, the doctor was forced to meet the patient, but after the operation he could not resist and asked about the purpose of such an execution. To which, as you know, the young man replied: “I met a Jewish girl and wanted to make her family pleasant. And what, am I confused something, doctor? ”

The civilized sellers of "eco-grace", which allergy sufferers, as you know, drink directly from under the goat, with fresh foam, also clearly confused something, in our opinion ...

What breed do serious goat breeders prefer?

One of the most popular goat breeds (dairy) is the Saanen breed. It was brought in Switzerland, in the valley of the Zaane River, hence the name. Zaanenka is traditionally used to improve the breed throughout the world, including Russia.

Experts advise all novice breeders of Saanen goats - as the best "material" for medium and large farms. Pros:

1) high milk yield;

2) Received from Saanen raw materials universal. This means that it is suitable for the production of pasteurized milk, and for further processing.

3) Zaanensky milk has a fat content sufficient for the production of dairy products such as butter, cottage cheese, etc.

4) And most importantly: in Russia only the Saanen goat breed is included in the State Register of Selection Achievements. That is, it is approved for use in the Russian Federation.

By 2000, the Russian goat milk market was 500 tons per year. By 2008, already 3, 000 tons. Due to the crisis, the market fell to 2, 000 tons per year. In the coming year, a rise of up to 2, 500 tons is projected.

The stock of so-called "medium and small" goat milk farms ranges from 5 thousand to three thousand heads. Such "small" farmers already have their significant advantages over the "magnanimous" manufacturers of a strange drink with a frightening sane consumer a shelf life of six months. They (small farmers) still produce pasteurized milk, that is, milk with a short shelf life, closer to condition. With such an approach, “wide market coverage” is, of course, impossible, and is it necessary, this “wide market coverage”, if in order to achieve it, the main property of goat’s milk is lost - freshness and healing properties that are due to it?

You can organize the smallest farm, for example, 120 milk goats. Then you will have to take care of the processing workshop and the staff of assistants, consisting of 5-7 people. These assistants may well be members of your family.

The volume of such mini-production will be from 50 to 60 tons of pasteurized milk per year.

Farmers, by the way, learned how to cross goats so that their goats would be milked all year. (The usual "grandmother's" goats, as you know, are not milked in winter). However, in half of the “smartly” crossed herds, the milking period begins in November, in the remaining half, traditionally in March.

It would only be milk.
