A polypropylene bag is a durable, cheap and practical packaging that is widely used in agriculture, in construction stores, in construction enterprises, in various types of industry and in the household. Bags come in different colors.
Due to the widespread use of bags as universal packaging, their production is a profitable enterprise. As a sales market, agricultural enterprises and manufacturers of building mixtures can be considered. Also, bags can be sold through construction and hardware stores.
To open our own production of polypropylene bags, you need a starting capital of about 5 million rubles. Most of the funds will be spent on the purchase, delivery and adjustment of the production equipment line. The rest is for the design and equipment of a production building that meets all the standards applicable in the territory of the Russian Federation.
The area of the premises to accommodate the production of polypropylene bags should be 800-1000 square meters. In addition to production workshops (a workshop for the production of polypropylene yarn, a weaving workshop, a cutting workshop), there should be a warehouse for raw materials, a warehouse for finished products, administrative and domestic premises. The industrial building must have an exclusion zone from residential buildings of at least 50 meters. Floor in workshops, as a rule, is poured with concrete and covered with tiles. The optimal type of wall cladding is also tile. The production room should be heated, have water supply, sewage, ventilation. Projects of production facilities are made by design organizations and provide for the correspondence of communications and equipment location to production needs and fire safety and labor protection requirements. The project cost is calculated individually for each case. The average is about 2 thousand rubles per square meter.
To service the production line, three workers are enough who can work in two shifts. The average wage per worker is 18-20 thousand rubles.
Lines for the production of polypropylene bags are purchased in China. Estimated cost of the line is 3.5 million rubles. The line includes several types of equipment: equipment for producing flat and monofilament yarns of different thicknesses and widths, equipment for recycling plastic waste at the end of yarn production, weaving machines, image printing machines, cutting and laminating machines.
Polypropylene granules are used as raw materials. It is not difficult to find a supplier; in the Russian market there are lots of offers for the sale of granules. The cost of a kilogram of raw materials is from 33 to 45 rubles. The quality of the products depends on the quality of raw materials. Polypropylene can be primary or secondary, obtained from recycled polypropylene products, including bags, purified from impurities.
The production process begins with the fact that polypropylene granules are mixed in a special container with dyes and additives. Most often, calcium carbonate (65 rubles per kilogram) is used as an additive, due to which the bags acquire a white color and the necessary stiffness. The mixture is fed to an extruder, which heats it up and turns it into a thin film. Then the film is cooled and cut into filaments. Threads are wound on spools. The basis for making a polypropylene bag is woven from threads - a polypropylene sleeve. To make a sleeve, spools of thread are tucked into a circular loom, which produces the material by shuttle. The finished polypropylene sleeve is also wound on coils. Next, the sleeve falls on the next line, on which it is cut by hot cutting. Each part cut off from the sleeve, the machine processes, tucks, flashes. The neck remains unstitched, it can be either edged or tucked and stitched. Finished bags are stacked in bales of 500 or 1000 pieces, pressed, pulled by twine and transferred to the finished goods warehouse. On the cutting machine, there may be a module - a flexographic machine - for applying a one-color or multi-color inscription. The inscription is applied both to the finished bag, and to cut parts.
From one kilogram of granules, 14 bags can be made. The production cost of one bag is 2.9-3 rubles. With the wholesale implementation, one bag costs 8 rubles. The monthly profit of the workshop for the production of polypropylene bags is about 250 thousand rubles, which characterizes this type of business as cost-effective and very profitable.
